Portland Bar Tour for Google Places

When Google wanted to show off their new product, Google Places (then called Hotpot), they hired Geoffrey Kleinman to create a tour that showed how Google Places could be used to find cool and interesting places in Portland to drink. The result was the piece “Hotpot Goes Barhopping“. The piece was so successful that Google commissioned several other pieces from Geoffrey including “In Portland, Little Places with Big Ideas“, “Best Evers: Ken Aaron, Photographer“, “Best Evers: Stephanie Stricklen”

Geoffrey was hired to write an article about the role of digestifs in bars and restaurants beverage programs for Restaurant Management Magazine. The piece Driving Digestifs looks at several trends in this space as well as specific options for bars and restaurants to consider.

Geoffrey Kleinman created a tour of Portland Craft Cocktail Bars for the Urbandig iPhone App complete with tips on how to get the best experience at each bar and photographs of the bar and drinks.
